Sourire de mômes is an association based in Finistère that organises large events to raise funds to purchase equipment to improve mobility for children with disabilities.
From 2015 to 2019, every year, a large concentration of motorbikes went for a ride in the Bay of Douarnenez, towards the Pointe du Raz and in the Pays Bigouden.
Various artists, musicians, sculptors, and strollers, animated the arrival of the bikers for a moment of conviviality.
To ensure the safety and smooth running of these days, the motorbike rides could count on the support of the Departmental Road Safety Squadron, the Finistère Gendarmerie and Motard Sport Média Évènement. On the sidelines, medical and technical teams completed the assistance of these events.
If the theme of the next edition is not based on 2 wheels, we do not forget that it is the SOLIDARITY of the bikers that has built the durability of this great event. So, you who have ridden in the past for Sourire de mômes, you can be part of the 2023 edition. Your help and dedication are precious to us.
Since its creation, the association has maintained a special link with various institutional entities such as the Finistère department, the emergency services, the Gendarmerie and more recently with the French Navy.
The Covid 19 epidemic has unfortunately prevented this annual meeting from being held since 2020, even though this year's objective was financed.
However, the association and its supporters are planning to organise a major event over a full weekend in 2023 in order to make a lasting impression on the people of Brittany and with the ambition of realising the dream of a dozen children.
So... all this time without activity has given us the desire to move forward, and it's a very large-scale event that awaits you!
Expect to look up to the sky... For the children!
