In 2017, focus on Natholy !
Natoly was born in 2007 and lives in Ile Tudy (29). He has metatropic dysplasia, a very rare genetic disease.
His bones are fragile and his joints are deformed. He cannot stand up straight and needs a corset. He has pain in his feet, legs and back when he walks too long. So he needs a chair or someone to help him.
On 14 May 2017, 448 bikers chose to get together and offer a great ride to the Pointe du Raz, to finance Natholy's dream of a helicopter ride !
The Sourire de mômes association was thus able to finance the 3300 € of this operation.
And, thanks to the solidarity of all the actors of this day, our hero of the day also rode a motorbike of the gendarmerie, took place in a fire engine, and settled in a side-car!
The musical part of the day was provided by the band Big Stew with their Celtic rock.
Testimony of Laure, Natoly's mum
"The 2017 motorbike trip was for my son Natoly, then 7 years old. As he already had all the necessary equipment, he asked if he could take a helicopter ride. The association heartily agreed. That day remains unforgettable for me, with memories of beautiful smiles, benevolence and great humanity. Seeing all this solidarity for my son and all the benevolence of the association, it warms my heart. Natoly hasn't forgotten either. Thanks to this kind of association, we parents feel less alone in the face of illness, disability and difference. It helps us to be stronger. As for me, I wanted to help the association on another walk, as a volunteer, to thank them."
