In 2019, focus on Grégory !
Grégory was born in 2009, and lives in Cléden Cap Sizun (29). He has Smith-Magenis syndrome. The disease, of genetic origin, was discovered for him at the age of 1 month.
The disease affects 1 in 15,000 people, i.e. about 30 newborns per year in France.
For 9 out of 10 patients, the syndrome is caused by the loss of a small piece (micro-deletion) of chromosome 17. It manifests itself by an intellectual deficit, behavioural problems and sleep disorders.
Early and multidisciplinary support is necessary to reduce the impact (speech therapist, psychologist, psychomotrician, etc.).
454 bikers, a record, were present for this day of 12 May 2019!
Their ride in the Cap Sizun ended with the exceptional projection of the film "The epic of the discotheques in the Bigouden Country" and it was the Breton guitarist of Irish origin Pat O'May who set this beautiful day alight with his rough blues.
Grégory has expressed the wish to acquire a swing adapted to his handicap to share moments of leisure and relaxation with his sister.
The cost of this project is €2062.80.
